About The Earthshot Prize
The Earthshot Prize searches the globe for solutions in five areas: nature, air, oceans, waste and climate. Each year it names 15 Finalists and five Winners and celebrates them at an awards ceremony. The 2026 Prize comes to Mumbai, India, on 16 and 17 November, and the Winners will be announced at the Awards there.

Who can apply
- Solutions in one of the five areas: nature, air, oceans, waste or climate
- Solutions with proven prototypes that show signs of success
- Solutions with the potential to make a positive impact on the environment
How selection works: Solutions are put forward by the Prize's Official Nominators, a global network the Prize works with to identify the solutions with the biggest potential impact. The Prize aims to gather nominations from a wide and diverse group of individuals and sectors.
How to apply: Entry is through nomination by an Official Nominator.
