About Call for Startup Proposals from ST category

This call ran on the same terms as the main startup route but was reserved for ST-category startups, with a smaller project budget. Its deadline was 20 October 2025 and has passed, though TiHAN's listing page still badges it as open. It is included here because it is the clearest statement TiHAN publishes of the conditions its startup calls apply, and because a repeat is worth watching for.

Who can apply

  • An Indian company registered under the Companies Act or meeting the Startup India definition of a startup
  • At least 51 per cent shareholding with Indian citizens or people of Indian origin
  • Not yet registered as a startup is acceptable at application stage, but registration is required if selected for the grant-in-aid
  • Already incubated at an incubation centre or a technology or research park supported by a Central or State government, with a letter from that incubator attached to the application

How to apply: When it reopens, the route is the same — Annexure A template, one consolidated PDF, online form on the call page.
