About Velocity
Velocity is Village Global's programme for pre-seed founders. Village invests in the company to help it reach its next key milestone, and founders get a peer cohort and access to the network. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
What you get
- An investment from Village Global in your company.
- A peer cohort of founders.
- Access to the Village network of founders, operator angels and luminary limited partners.
- For AI founders: compute perks from Microsoft for Startups, OpenAI and Anthropic. These include Azure credits with access to a dedicated Azure GPU cluster, an OpenAI credit package with VIP usage tier upgrades, and Anthropic credits with priority support routing and the highest rate limits.
- Immigration legal services through Alma, covered by the programme for founders who relocate to the United States.
Who can apply
- Pre-seed founders, including those with only an idea and no formal company yet.
- Founders from anywhere in the world.
How selection works: The site says founders are judged on vision, grit, a strong product or technical orientation, and an ability to recruit a team. A typical pre-seed or seed round takes two to three weeks from first introduction to an investment decision.
How to apply: Submit the Velocity application form on the programme page. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, so there is no fixed intake date.
