About Startup India Seed Fund Scheme
The Startup India Seed Fund Scheme backs proof of concept, prototype development, product trials, market entry and commercialisation. The money is national scheme money; the incubator is the body that selects and disburses to startups.
What you get
- Seed support for a defined milestone, released through the incubator
- The incubator's guidance on preparing the pitch, and its published pitch-deck guidance
Who can apply
- Startups recognised by DPIIT, which is the scheme's own requirement
- The incubator does not restate the scheme's rules on its site, so read them on the national portal
How selection works: the incubator runs its own committee for this scheme, chaired by its chief executive.
How to apply: apply for the scheme on the Startup India seed fund portal and name this incubator. The incubator has funded a named list of companies this way, which is worth reading to judge fit. Questions go to incubationmanager@vishva.co.
