About We Founder Circle angel network seed round

Alongside the accelerator, We Founder Circle syndicates seed rounds among its own member investors. This is not a cohort and there is no curriculum: it is a deal pipeline. Startups that sign a term sheet with WFC are presented at online pitch sessions, and member investors decide individually whether to commit. Note before you start that WFC's own founder-facing buttons for this route are broken — Join The Community, Join Our Portfolio and the Founders link all lead to a missing page — so the support inbox and the toll-free number in their footer are the only way in we could verify.

What you get

  • A pooled seed round from member angels rather than a single investor.
  • Introductions to accredited angels and VC funds, and access to accelerator programmes in their network.
  • Corporate proofs of concept, collaborations and business development, and access to a network of senior corporate people.
  • A cross-border founders community, mentoring and peer learning, founder meet-ups and a startup map.

Who can apply

  • No eligibility criteria are published for founders on this route. They describe themselves as sector agnostic and say they have invested in startups in India, the USA, Singapore and Dubai, at stages from seed through to later rounds.

How selection works: an in-house team screens the incoming deal and shares an information checklist, then holds calls with the founders. The deal is circulated to community members with relevant expertise for their view. Once roughly half the round is committed, third-party agencies run legal and financial due diligence and the report goes to investors. A shareholders' agreement is signed, committed investors get fifteen days to transfer, and share certificates are issued afterwards. Rounds that do not attract commitments close to the full raise are dropped rather than part-funded. WFC also states that it does not sign NDAs with founders, because it shares the plans it receives with its members.

How to apply: there is no working form. Write to support@wefoundercircle.com or call the toll-free number on their site.
