About YCCE TBI Foundation technology business incubation

YCCE TBI Foundation is the Section 8 company that runs the institute's technology business incubator. It admits faculty, students, alumni, permanent staff and partners of the institute, with a focus on IP-based startups, physical products and proposals linked to YCCE faculty.

What you get

  • Co-working space inside the YCCE premises
  • A faculty mentor from YCCE
  • Part-time accounting, IP, legal and management professionals, on prescribed charges
  • Access to the seed support described above

Who can apply

  • Faculty members, students, alumni and permanent staff of the institute
  • Institute research and industry partners, and government-agency partners
  • A registered company, or founders who will register within six months of approval

How selection works: an internal review by the senior business team, then an external review by a local selection and expert committee.

How to apply: send your idea or business plan to yccetbif@ycce.edu. Pre-incubation is handled through the same route.

Incubated companies give the incubator a non-dilutable equity stake equal to 5% of promoters' equity. The pages do not agree on the length of the graduation period, so check the current terms before you apply.
