It promotes entrepreneurship among SC youth working on innovative, technology-driven ideas. The iCreate Pro-Fund Gateway Prototype/PoC Funding Support helps founders turn a proof-of-concept or prototype into a product. iCreate, a government-recognized TBI, offers access to multiple schemes from the Government of India and Government of Gujarat. Support includes business and technical mentorship, prototyping labs, digital innovation lab access, incubation, funding connections, and hostel accommodation on campus. The program is open to idea-stage startups with a PoC. There is no fixed deadline; applications are accepted year-round.

Genesis by IKP – Cohort 1 (IKP Knowledge Park)

Genesis by IKP – Cohort 1 is a 12-month venture-building program for deep science startups at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 2–3. Hosted by IKP Knowledge Park, it targets founders translating lab research into commercial ventures. The program provides up to ₹30,00,000 in funding, hands-on engagement from in-house experts, and support in venture development. The deadline for Cohort 1 is 31 July 2026. Founders must have a concept validated through experiments or proof-of-concept.

Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) Program at IITM Pravartak (IITM Pravartak Technologies Foundation)

The Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) Program at IITM Pravartak is a pre-incorporation grant for innovators working on cyber-physical systems (CPS). Run by IITM Pravartak, IIT Madras's Technology Innovation Hub under NMICPS, it provides a grant of up to ₹4,20,000, along with infrastructure and mentorship to develop a prototype. Selected EIRs then transition into Pravartak's incubation pipeline (PRAYAS, Seed Support System) for follow-on funding. The program is rolling, with no set deadline. Open Challenge Program (OCP) Cohort 1 at NERVE CoE, Nagpur (NERVE CoE, Nagpur)

The Open Challenge Program (OCP) Cohort 1 at NERVE CoE, Nagpur is a MeitY-backed deep tech incubator. It provides GPU infrastructure, seed funding up to ₹50,00,000, and hands-on mentoring for AI and DeepTech startups in HealthTech, AgriTech, Forestry, and Mining. The 18-month program includes bootcamp sessions, go-to-market support, IPR and legal assistance. The deadline is 15 July 2026. Idea-stage startups with a validated concept in these sectors are eligible. Applications must be submitted before the cohort closes.

Ideabaaz — Season 2 & Startup Festival 2026 (Ideabaaz Tech)

Ideabaaz — Season 2 & Startup Festival 2026 is a national pitch competition that culminates in a live festival at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi (26–28 August 2026). Produced by Ideabaaz Tech and presented by Zee TV & Zee5, it offers funding up to ₹25,00,000, mentorship, and media exposure across 8 regional languages. Season 1 closed ₹41 Cr in deals. Founders from any Indian city at any stage can apply, including idea-stage. Applications are rolling, but the festival date implies a cut-off for selection.

Indian Innovation Icons 2027 (Marico Innovation Foundation)

The Indian Innovation Icons 2027 is a biennial program by Marico Innovation Foundation that identifies and supports groundbreaking innovations. It offers strategic mentorship, investor access, business connections, and national visibility. Both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations can apply. The program has no fixed deadline; applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Idea-stage startups with a clear social or commercial problem-solving innovation are eligible.

The Vault Bharat — Season 2 (—)

The Vault Bharat — Season 2 is a startup reality show focused on Uttar Pradesh-based founders. Startups with a UP office address can pitch for funding up to ₹1 Cr, mentorship, and on-screen visibility. The program is open to all sectors and stages, including early ideas. Applications are rolling. Founders must be comfortable presenting financials and founder background. First season saw over 100 startups pitch.

Before Applying

Several programs have specific eligibility constraints tied to stage definition. ASIIM requires founders to be from Scheduled Caste communities; the EIR program at IITM Pravartak mandates that the company not be incorporated at the time of application. NERVE CoE OCP limits its focus to AI and DeepTech in four sectors (HealthTech, AgriTech, Forestry, Mining). Timing is critical: NERVE CoE OCP closes on 15 July 2026, and Genesis by IKP closes on 31 July 2026 — both are cohort-based, meaning missing the intake could delay support by months. The remaining programs accept rolling applications, but some like Ideabaaz have a live event date that sets an implicit deadline for selection. EIR at IITM Pravartak and iCreate Pro-Fund have no cohort structure, so applications are evaluated continuously. ASIIM also operates on a rolling basis through its TBI network.
