It takes equity in tech-led companies led by driven entrepreneurial teams, mainly in India and selectively in the USA.

The capital came from the AWE Evergreen Philanthropic Fund, with support from the Bayer Foundation and the AWE Foundation. It looked for bold, tech-led founders ready for long-term equity capital.

The AWE Fellowship Program is for professionals who want to build careers in venture capital, private equity and the wider investment ecosystem. It is not a programme for founders. The 2026 cohort ran from 28 July to 2 September 2026 and applications closed on 14 July 2026. The programme page still reads as if applications are open, so check with AWE Funds before relying on it.
