About IndiaAI

IndiaAI is the national artificial intelligence mission of the Government of India, approved by the Cabinet in March 2024 with a budget outlay of Rs 10,371.92 crore over five years. Implemented as an independent business division under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), IndiaAI is building a comprehensive ecosystem that drives AI innovation, supports startups, strengthens data access, and ensures responsible AI use for public good.

The mission operates across seven foundational pillars: IndiaAI Compute (providing GPU infrastructure scaled from 10,000 to 38,000 GPUs), IndiaAI FutureSkills, IndiaAI Startup Financing, IndiaAI Innovation Centre, IndiaAI Datasets Platform, IndiaAI Applications Development Initiative, and Safe and Trusted AI. The IndiaAI Startups Global Acceleration Programme, developed in partnership with Station F Paris and HEC Paris, provides international exposure to selected Indian AI startups.
