The programme provides knowledge, skills, and the right attitude through experiential learning, expert-led sessions, and access to mentoring. It includes three iterative business plan presentations culminating in a comprehensive business plan presentation to investors and experts. Participants earn SPJIMR’s Executive Alumni Status upon successful completion. Access to incubation facilities post-programme with Sardar Patel Technology Business Incubator (SP-TBI) is also offered, subject to SP-TBI's terms and conditions. The fee for the programme is ₹95000 + 18% GST.

About SP Jain Institute of Management Research Center, Mumbai

The Start Your Business programme is run by SP Jain Institute of Management and Research in Mumbai and is directed towards aspiring entrepreneurs and early-stage start-ups. The institute describes it as a hands-on, practical course designed to foster an entrepreneurial mindset through experiential learning, rather than a purely classroom degree. It runs for four months in a hybrid format, with sessions held over nine weekends and a business plan presentation at the end. The curriculum covers sales and marketing, digital marketing, funding and valuation and pitching skills, along with operations and go-to-market strategy, and the themes are sequenced so that participants build towards a business plan as they progress. It is aimed both at individuals with an entrepreneurial streak who have yet to start and at early-stage ventures looking to expand.
