The Foundery runs one programme at a time. It selects individuals to co-found new consumer companies, rather than backing startups that already exist. Cohort 02 is open for applications.

The Foundery is a venture builder. Selected individuals, not existing startups, spend 90 days in residence at The Foundery Sanctum in Alibaug, each matched to an idea from the studio's Idea Vault. They build a consumer company alongside operators and shared teams, and become co-founders of a company owned and promoted by the studio's affiliates. Cohort 02 is run as the Co-Founder Identification and Immersion Program. Applications are open to the public.

Who can apply
- Anyone aged 18 or older on 31 December 2026, with no upper age limit
- Open globally, though the residency is in person in India
- No business idea needed, and no founding experience required, although prior building or launching is said to matter
- A small or bootstrapped business can apply if it fits the venture-building model
- You can apply with a co-founder, but each person is selected individually
- Government employees and officials and politically exposed persons are not eligible
- Consumer businesses only
How selection works: The stages are the application form, an AI interview, a task submission, a panel interview, a 5-day in-person bootcamp and final selection. Which company a selectee co-founds is decided by the studio's affiliates at their sole discretion. Intellectual property created during and after the programme belongs to the company affiliate you co-found with.
How to apply: Apply on the application portal. A non-refundable application fee is payable after the form and before the AI interview. There are no further fees for the bootcamp or the residency. Applications opened on 18 September 2026 and close on 24 October 2026, the deadline to complete every stage including payment, the AI interview and the task. The 90-day build is scheduled to start on 15 January 2027. After the residency, co-founders keep building from affiliate offices in other cities. Questions: join@thefoundery.in.

चयन कैसे होता है
- चयन सार्वजनिक और प्रतिस्पर्धी है। Cohort 01 का अंत 30 लोगों के अंतिम कोहॉर्ट के साथ हुआ।

चयन कैसे होता है
इनटेक निमंत्रण पर नहीं, बल्कि सार्वजनिक रूप से खुला है, और यह प्रतिस्पर्धी है। फ़ॉर्म जमा करने के बाद और AI interview से पहले एक गैर-वापसी योग्य आवेदन शुल्क देय है। The Foundery कहता है कि यह बड़े पैमाने पर चयन चलाने के लिए ज़रूरी तकनीक और संसाधनों को कवर करता है, और bootcamp या residency के लिए कोई और शुल्क नहीं है। हर चरण पूरा करने की समय-सीमा, जिसमें फ़ॉर्म, भुगतान, AI interview और task शामिल हैं, 24 October 2026 है। आवेदन 18 September 2026 को खुले। केवल वे लोग जो समय-सीमा तक सभी चरण पूरे करते हैं, interview panel के लिए योग्य हैं।

residency Alibaug में The Foundery Sanctum पर होती है, जो तीन एकड़ का आवासीय परिसर है। The Foundery आवास, भोजन, हाई-स्पीड इंटरनेट, समर्पित workspaces, meeting rooms, fitness सुविधाएँ और मनोरंजन क्षेत्र की व्यवस्था करता है, ताकि प्रतिभागी निर्माण पर ध्यान केंद्रित कर सकें। परिसर का कोई सड़क का पता प्रकाशित नहीं है।
residency के बाद
निर्माण 90 दिनों के बाद भी जारी रहता है। questions पेज कहता है कि सह-संस्थापक Mumbai, Delhi या Bengaluru से निर्माण जारी रखते हैं। शर्तें कहती हैं कि चुने गए लोगों को Mumbai, Bangalore या Gurugram में affiliate कार्यालयों में स्थानांतरित होकर वहीं से काम करना होगा, या affiliates जिस अन्य स्थान का निर्देश दें वहाँ। दोनों सूचियाँ Delhi और Gurugram पर अलग हैं, इसलिए आवेदन से पहले पुष्टि करें कि आप कहाँ स्थित होंगे।
