The Automation Arena (n8n Edition) & Mangathon is a unique dual-track innovation challenge organized by MVSR Engineering College (MVSREC), Hyderabad. This event, part of Samavarthan 2026, aims to foster technical and creative skills among students through hands-on challenges in workflow automation and AI-driven content creation.
Who Should Apply
The competition is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from all academic disciplines. Participants should have basic computer and internet knowledge. No prior experience with automation tools (like n8n) or AI image generation tools is required, making it accessible for beginners and experienced individuals alike.
Tracks & Challenges
- The Automation Arena (n8n Edition): This technical challenge focuses on workflow automation using n8n. Participants will learn to connect applications, APIs, and services through automated workflows. The event includes an introductory workshop covering triggers, nodes, workflow design, and integrations, followed by a challenge phase to build a functional automation workflow solving a real-world problem. Submissions require a working workflow and a brief explanation.
- Mangathon (AI Manga Creator): A creative, semi-technical event where participants craft a manga/comic-style story using AI image generation tools. A moral and genre will be provided at the start. Participants will use prompt engineering to generate 10 AI-based manga frames, ensuring story flow and character consistency. Submissions include the 10 generated frames, a story explanation, and the prompts used.
Format & Timeline
The event runs from April 10 to April 18, 2026, at MVSR Engineering College in Hyderabad. Participants are requested to bring their own laptops. Registration involves completing a form on Unstop, followed by a private Luma Form, and manual payment verification. Approvals are processed daily.
Prizes
A total cash prize pool of ₹6,500 is allocated for The Automation Arena. Winners of the Mangathon will receive exclusive anime collectibles.
Eligibility
Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from all disciplines. Individual or team participation (up to 2 members).
How to Apply
Register on Unstop first, then fill out the Private Luma Form. A QR code will be sent after manual payment verification. The last date for registration is April 17, 2026.
