Programmes they run

Standing programmes at 2070 Health, separate from the funding calls above.

2070 Health builds its own companies. It has no cohort and no application window. The only open door is a form for founders to register interest.

A standing open door for prospective founders to register interest in building a healthcare company with the studio.

Best for: Prospective founders who want to build a healthcare company with a studio rather than start alone.

What you get, who can apply and how to apply

2070 Health researches and validates healthcare ideas itself, then recruits founders to build the company with it. The Build with us form on its homepage is how a prospective founder gets on the studio's radar. It is not a cohort with dates, and the studio publishes no intake window.

Who can apply

  • Prospective founders who want to build a company in healthcare with the studio.
  • No stage, experience level or background is stated.

How selection works: The studio does not publish selection criteria. It says founders are recruited after an idea has passed its validation stages.

Terms: The studio does not publish its terms for founders, such as equity, funding or a stipend.

How to apply: Fill in the Build with us form on the homepage with your name, email, LinkedIn profile and resume. There is an optional box to share other ideas. Separate openings, including a co-founder role, are listed on the careers page and applied for through their own form.

How to apply to 2070 Health

Know what this is before you apply

  • 2070 Health is a venture studio. It builds companies with founders; it does not run a cohort, and there is no application window to wait for.
  • If you already have a startup and want a programme to join, an accelerator or incubator is a better fit. This is for people who want to become the founder of a company the studio has already researched and validated.

How to get in front of the studio

  • Use the Build with us form on the homepage. It asks for your name, email, LinkedIn profile and a resume, and has an optional box for other ideas you want to share.
  • Look at the careers page too. It lists openings at the studio and at its companies, including a co-founder role, and each is applied for separately.

What to ask before you commit

  • The studio publishes no terms for founders. Ask what equity you would hold, whether you would be paid or funded, and who decides what the company builds.
  • Ask which of the companies on its Companies page and careers page are currently hiring founders, since the two pages do not list the same companies.

What to bring

  • The form asks for a resume and LinkedIn profile, so a clear record of your healthcare, operating or technology background is what it can read.
  • The studio says it validates ideas with clinicians and patients, so relevant clinical or healthcare operating experience is likely to be useful. The site does not say what it screens for.

About 2070 Health

2070 Health is a healthcare venture studio. It researches healthcare ideas itself, then recruits founders to build each company with it, rather than accepting existing startups into a cohort. A news headline linked from its site describes it as Mumbai-based; the site itself publishes no address.

How the studio works

The studio describes its method in four steps: ideation and deep validation, team building, launch, and scale-up. Ideas start inside the studio, from its own research, not from outside applications. It says it rejects about nine in ten ideas through a structured research process with several stage gates before an idea becomes a company. That is the studio's own claim and it gives no date for it. Economic Times, reporting in June 2023, described validation as involving conversations with doctors and patients, clinical studies and go-to-market experiments.

Once an idea passes those gates, the studio recruits the founders. It says it has an in-house talent team for finding founding teams. It also describes an Innovation Platform that backs the companies it builds. The platform covers diligence on healthcare concepts, talent, clinical expertise, technology, marketing, go-to-market, fundraising through investor networks, and finance and legal advisory. These are described as support for the studio's own companies. The site does not offer them to outside startups.

Who can join

The studio is open to prospective founders who want to build a healthcare company with it. It is healthcare only. The site states no stage, experience level or background it requires. It also publishes no intake dates, no selection criteria and no terms for founders, such as equity, funding or a stipend. Anyone considering it should ask the studio directly about those points.

The way in is the Build with us form on the homepage, covered under the programme below.

Companies it has built

The Companies page lists four companies as co-founded and co-built by the studio: BabyMD, Elevate Now, Nivaan Care and Reveal Healthtech. BabyMD is shown against the year 2024. The careers page also names Everhope Oncology, Careforce and ForLife, which the Companies page does not list, so the two pages do not agree on the full set.

The counts have also moved over time. Economic Times reported in June 2023 that the studio had created three companies so far, naming Elevate Now, Nivaan Care and Reveal Healthtech. The same article said the studio planned to launch 15 to 20 healthcare companies over the following five years. That is a plan, not a result.

These companies are the studio's own portfolio. They are not alumni of a programme that outside startups apply to.

Who runs it

Economic Times reported in June 2023 that 2070 Health and W Health Ventures share the same co-founding team. It described W Health Ventures as a US and India-based investor, with 2070 Health acting as its incubator, and said the studio had raised funding from W Health Ventures to build healthcare companies in India and seed the new ones. This comes from press coverage, not from 2070 Health's own pages, and we have not been able to confirm it there.

Careers

The studio has a careers page that lets you filter openings by company. At the time of the research it listed a co-founder opening for an unnamed venture, based in Delhi, which is applied for through its own separate form.
