About Royal Norwegian Fellowship Grant
This call closed on 25 February 2025. It was supported by the Royal Norwegian Embassy in New Delhi and Innovation Norway, in collaboration with AIC-SMUTBI, and aimed at community innovations in battery energy storage in India.
What you get
- A fellowship in two phases, each lasting three months, hosted between AIC-SMUTBI and The Energy and Resources Institute in New Delhi
- Mentorship, delivered online, and financial support to take the innovation forward
- Grounding in the Sustainable Development Goals, entrepreneurial skills and the circular economy
- Twelve fellowships in total
Who can apply
- Innovators, entrepreneurs and researchers working on energy storage, including students and working professionals
- Indian citizens aged 18 or above, any educational background, with a valid PAN card
- Residents of or people working in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura or Sikkim, or whose idea is already implemented in one of those states or could be
- Women innovators and entrepreneurs, and communities in underserved regions, were encouraged; MVP-stage ideas were preferred
