About Startup India Seed Fund Scheme at BITS BIRAC BioNEST
The incubator is a seed-fund incubator under the national scheme and has a standing page inviting applications. Money is disbursed under the scheme's own rules, not the incubator's, and applications are made on the national Startup India seed fund portal rather than to the incubator.
What you get
- Financial assistance for proof of concept, prototype development, product trials, market entry and commercialisation
- A seat inside the incubator's network while the grant runs
Who can apply
- The domains the incubator lists are deeptech, healthcare, waste management, water management, education, agriculture, food processing, energy and mobility
- The national scheme's own eligibility rules apply; the incubator does not restate them
How selection works: The incubator names an Incubator Seed Fund Management Committee on its seed-fund page, but does not publish who sits on it or how it scores applications.
How to apply: Apply on the national Startup India seed fund portal and select this incubator. Eleven companies are named on the incubator's page as having been supported this way.
