About Business Incubation Centre (CBIT-MSME Incubation Centre)
The Business Incubation Centre at CBIT helps individuals and teams turn a technology idea into a company. It provides office space, mentoring and business support, and it may provide a seed loan after six months in the incubator.
What you get
- Office space, with up to two rented computers for each company
- Faculty advisors as mentors on technology and business development
- Professionals for accounting, experts with IP knowledge, and legal expertise on a part-time basis
- Business consulting assistance and help in getting funding
- A stay of up to two years
Who can apply
- Students, the general public, or a mix of the two, with an idea of high impact
- Not open to companies that offer educational courses or training programmes
How selection works: the idea is judged on innovativeness, commercial viability and technical feasibility, and the promoters then present to an evaluation committee of experts.
How to apply: submit the prescribed application form with the required documents, or approach the centre directly.
