About CIIE business incubation
Ventures from any academic discipline can apply for incubation at CIIE, including founders from outside IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. Selected ventures get access to space and facilities subject to availability, and the centre charges for space and services under its policy. Selected ventures sign an incubation agreement that covers equity holding.
What you get
- Space, laboratory use and other facilities, subject to availability
- Access to business support services, mentoring and training, as the centre's stated aim
- A virtual incubation track for companies outside the campus, as the policy describes

- Students and alumni, faculty and others each use their own application form
- Incorporated private or public limited companies
How selection works: an evaluation committee screens the application for financial and technical feasibility. Shortlisted applicants may be invited to pitch to a selection panel.
