About YUKTI route for DTU innovators
YUKTI is the national repository run by the Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell and AICTE, where institutions across India host ideas, prototypes and startups. DTU-IIF is the on-campus incubator at the end of that path for DTU.
What you get
- One-to-one mentoring from DTU mentors and outside experts
- Access to AICTE and Innovation Cell grants and the YUKTI Innovation Challenge
- Preferred linkage into incubation at DTU-IIF for workspace, legal support and IP help
- National visibility for the innovation, and introductions to investors
- Help with patent filing and technology licensing through the institute's IPR cell
Who can apply
- Current DTU students at undergraduate, postgraduate or PhD level
- Recent DTU graduates and alumni
- DTU faculty and staff
- Existing DTU-IIF incubatees
This is the one route restricted to the university — every other programme here is open to outside founders.
How selection works: DTU's Institution's Innovation Council reviews submissions and marks them as recommended. Recommended innovations become eligible for mentoring, national challenges, grants and direct referral into DTU-IIF.
How to apply: register on the national YUKTI portal, choose Delhi Technological University as your institution, and submit your idea, prototype or startup with supporting documents.
