About DFI Membership
Membership is what DFI sells, and it is the only route in. It is annual, and comes in five tiers split by organisation type and headcount: an early-stage startup tier, a larger startup tier for established companies scaling up, a corporate tier, an individual professional tier and a student tier. Each caps how many people one organisation can cover.
What you get
- Policy updates and a listing in the member directory at every tier, becoming a featured listing higher up.
- Participation in DFI's policy discussions and working groups, with a leadership position in them at the corporate tier.
- Access to DFI's industry data and research, and custom research at the corporate tier.
- Speaking slots at DFI events and private networking sessions.
- Direct access to government stakeholders at the corporate tier.
- Advisory sessions on reading and complying with new regulation.
Who can apply
- Drone and counter-drone companies, component and material suppliers and service providers, at the tier matching their size.
- Individual professionals working in the industry, and students and researchers, on their own tiers.
- Academic institutions, research organisations and non-profits are invited to ask about different pricing rather than pick a listed tier.
How selection works: DFI reviews the application within two to three working days, then sets up a call to discuss what you need. Approval is not automatic, and DFI reserves the right to end a membership for breaching its terms.
How to apply: Pick a tier on the membership page and complete the onboarding form, which verifies your email with a code and asks for your organisation's details, sector and headcount. After approval DFI sends payment details and activates the membership, and you get a member login. Membership renews annually, can be upgraded mid-year with the difference prorated, and is tied to the organisation rather than transferable. Questions go to partnerships-team@dronefederation.in.
