About UP Startup Policy: deep-tech startup support
Deep-tech startups whose proposals pass a rigorous evaluation and are recommended by a Centre of Excellence, Deep Tech Hub or Innovation Hub can receive enhanced prototype and seed assistance under the startup policy.
What you get
- Enhanced prototype and seed grants for recommended deep-tech startups
- A non-dilutive matching grant on verified R&D spending
- Reimbursement of data-centre and cloud costs, each financial year
- Patient capital: the policy supports a maximum of four deep-tech startups in a financial year
Who can apply
- Deep-tech startups recommended by a Centre of Excellence, Deep Tech Hub or Innovation Hub
- Supported startups commit to Uttar Pradesh as their home state at maturity
How selection works: Evaluation and recommendation by the hub, then review by the state's committees.
How to apply: Go through your Centre of Excellence or incubator. The patient-capital route is not an open application, so ask your incubator how proposals are put forward.
