About UP Startup Policy: reimbursements and interest subvention
These are refunds of costs you have already paid, not upfront grants. They sit in the same startup policy as the grants and need the same StartinUP registration.
What you get
- Reimbursement for taking part in an accelerator programme, for startups at Early Traction or Scaling stage
- Reimbursement of quality certification and patent filing costs, approved by the Policy Implementation Unit on the recommendation of an expert review committee
- Interest subvention on term loans from scheduled banks and financial institutions, for a fixed period
- Reimbursement of employer PF and ESI contributions
- Support for attending national and international conferences and events
Who can apply
- Registered Uttar Pradesh startups at the relevant stage
- Check whether a line needs approval before you enrol or attend; reimbursement is paid against receipts and completion proof
How selection works: Expert committee review, then approval by the Policy Implementation Unit.
How to apply: Apply on the StartinUP portal. Keep every receipt, certificate and report, because payment follows proof of spend.
