About Bank finance linkage for fisheries entrepreneurs
ICAR-CIFT signed an agreement with Bank of India, Mumbai on 26 May 2025 to help fisheries entrepreneurs and incubatees associated with the institute get financial assistance. It signed a second agreement with the State Bank of India on 28 November 2025. Under the SBI agreement, the ZTM-ABI Centre is to act as central coordinator, identifying eligible entrepreneurs, doing a technical pre-screening and briefing bank officials on fisheries technologies.
What you get
- Identification and recommendation to the bank based on the technology you adopt
- Technical pre-screening by the centre
- Loan products and credit schemes from the bank itself. This is bank credit that is repaid, not a grant
How to apply: The pages do not publish a separate application route or loan terms. Ask the ZTM-ABI Centre how pre-screening works for your project.
