About IITMIC Incubation
IITMIC Incubation is the cell's formal incubation programme. Admission starts with an e-application, then screening and approval by an Incubation Committee, and an agreement to start incubation.
What you get

- Use of IIT Madras laboratories, workshop facilities and equipment
- Monthly alumni mentoring clinics from the IIT Madras Entrepreneurship Forum
- Introductions to angel investors, venture capital firms and financial institutions
- In-house help with accounting, tax, company secretary, legal and IP work
Who can apply
- IIT Madras faculty and staff, current and retired
- IIT Madras students and current project staff
- Alumni of any IIT
- External startups with a strong technology base or an affiliation to IIT Madras as R&D partners
How selection works: proposals are screened on financial and technical due diligence, then approved by an Incubation Committee.
