About UYARE (Unified Youth Advancement in Research and Entrepreneurship)
UYARE is IPTIF's call for technology and product work that either comes from Scheduled Tribe (ST) entrepreneurs and researchers, or is aimed at benefiting tribal areas and communities. Startups are not eligible for this particular call — it is aimed at academic and research-institution applicants, and at ST-category individuals more broadly.
What you get: Grant-in-aid funding released against project milestones over up to 12–18 months, covering day-to-day project costs (overheads are not covered).
Who can apply: ST-category faculty, researchers and scientists from academic or research institutions with a caste certificate; or any-category applicants building technology or products specifically for tribal areas or communities.
How selection works: IPTIF has run this call with fixed opening, closing and results-announcement dates rather than rolling review.
How to apply: Apply online with KYC documents, a CV, a proposal in the prescribed format, a caste certificate where applicable, and supporting documents. Programme queries go to rnd@iptif.tech.
