About J&K Industrial Land Allotment Policy 2021-30
Plots in government industrial estates are allotted through the Single Window portal. The portal also lists private land and plug-and-play premises. This is not a funding programme.
What you get
- Industrial land on lease for an initial 40 years, which can be extended to 99 years
- A lease allotment letter that sets the terms, including the timelines for starting production
Who can apply
- Entrepreneurs seeking land in a Jammu & Kashmir industrial estate, with a detailed project report that meets the policy's requirements
- Each district block is classed as Zone A or Zone B
How selection works: A divisional appraisal committee scrutinises the application on technical and financial criteria. A land allotment committee then decides; which one depends on the size of the project. If two or more applicants compete for the same plot, the committee may speak to them before choosing.
How to apply: Apply online on the Single Window portal against the land it advertises, and submit the detailed project report with the application. A processing fee is charged when you apply and rises with the size of the plot.
