About Pre-Incubation

KiC-START's first tier is for innovators and students who have a rough idea and need help turning it into something testable. It is a standing offer rather than a dated cohort, and the centre has not published an intake calendar.

What you get

  • Expert review of whether the idea is technically feasible and has a market
  • One-to-one sessions with industry and academic mentors
  • Lab and tool access to build a first working version
  • A co-working desk on the campus
  • Introductions to other founders, investors and potential partners

Who can apply

  • Early-stage innovators and students with an idea that solves a real problem
  • The page states no restriction to students of the college

How selection works: you submit the idea describing the problem and your solution, an internal committee screens applications on innovation and feasibility, shortlisted people present to a selection panel, and selected teams are onboarded with a mentor and workspace.

How to apply: the Apply button on the programme page opens a contact form that does not submit, so write to incubationmanager@kongunadu.ac.in or call the centre and ask for the current intake and format.
