How to apply to MiraclePlus

Choose the right route first

MiraclePlus runs two separate routes, and they are for different people. The accelerator is for founders building a company; the compute programme is for teams, including researchers, who need compute for an artificial-intelligence project and may not be building a startup at all. Decide which one fits before you apply, since each has its own expectations even though they share one application process.

How applications work

Apply online through the application form. Applications to the accelerator are open year-round, and there is no business plan to prepare, but a short founder video is required, so plan to record one. Only founders can join the programme, and MiraclePlus counts you as a founder only if you hold at least 5 percent equity in the team. The compute application uses the same form and is reviewed on a rolling basis.

Watch the deadline for a specific batch

The accelerator runs twice a year, in Spring and Fall, so there is always a next intake, but each batch has a firm cut-off. For the 2027 Spring batch, applications close at 8pm on December 12, 2026, with the programme running in Beijing from March to June 2027. Check the current deadline on the application page before you start.

How selection works

After you apply, selected teams are invited to a meeting with the MiraclePlus team, in person in Beijing or elsewhere in China, or online, followed by an interview. Teams outside Mainland China can still be invested in, through a simple agreement for future equity, and overseas teams can take part online, so being outside China is not a barrier to applying.

About MiraclePlus

MiraclePlus is an early-stage startup accelerator based in Beijing. It was established in 2019 and runs a cohort-based accelerator twice a year, in Spring and Fall, working with founders across fields and geographies. It operates from Haidian District in Beijing, and asks that it not be described as Y Combinator's China office, subsidiary or official branch.

What they support

MiraclePlus backs early-stage founders in frontier technology fields, including deep technology, soft technology and biotechnology. Its accelerator is not restricted to teams in Mainland China: startups outside Mainland China can be invested in through a simple agreement for future equity, and overseas teams can take part online, though the programme itself runs in Beijing. Alongside the accelerator, it runs a separate compute programme aimed at teams with an artificial-intelligence focus, open to universities, research institutes, companies, startups and independent developers worldwide.

Programmes

The MiraclePlus Accelerator is a three-month programme. MiraclePlus invests in each company it selects and takes equity in return, and it charges participants no fees. The programme is built around close, repeated contact with the founding team: weekly one-on-one office hours with partners, group office hours, closed-door sessions with experienced entrepreneurs, a two-day bootcamp, a Product Day and a Demo Day, together with access to an alumni community. Founders and key team members are invited to Beijing for the three months, but teams are not required to relocate. The 2027 Spring batch is set to run in Beijing from March to June 2027.

MiraclePlus Compute offers free compute support, such as GPU resources, for artificial-intelligence research and startup projects. It does not require equity and sets no fixed targets; admitted teams give a short progress update every one to two months and follow usage protocols. The research need not lead to a startup. Applications are accepted year-round on a rolling basis, and the compute application follows the same process as the accelerator.

How to apply

Applications to the accelerator are made online through the application form and are open year-round. There is no business plan requirement, but a short founder video is mandatory. To count as a founder, an applicant must hold at least 5 percent equity in the team, and only founders may join the three-month programme. Selected teams are invited to meet the MiraclePlus team, in person in Beijing or elsewhere in China, or online, followed by an interview. For the 2027 Spring batch, applications close at 8pm on December 12, 2026. The compute programme uses the same route, with review taking around two months. General queries go to a contact inbox, and accelerator application questions go to a support inbox.

Track record

MiraclePlus reports that it has run its accelerator ten times and invested in several hundred startups across dozens of technology fields, with a large alumni community of founders and many thousands of hours of office hours delivered. Its pages do not always agree on the exact totals: its homepage counts 612 startups across ten batches, while its companies page says more than 500. It also reports that it has supported teams worldwide through its compute programme. These are MiraclePlus's own published figures.
