About Incubation at MZU Incubation Centre
The centre's main route in. You apply at any time through its online incubatee application, choosing one of its four thrust areas, and the centre works with you from an idea through to a working business. It also says it offers specialised services to entrepreneurs who are already trading.
What you get
- Office space, ICT support and use of a thrust-area lab
- A fabrication and prototype workshop with 3D printers, a 3D scanner and a laser engraver and cutter
- Mentoring from ten empanelled mentors, and in-house soft-skills and design-thinking coaching
- Help with incorporation, HR and legal matters, publicity and promotion
- Research and development with the host university, exposure and study trips, skill-set development and library access
- The centre also lists seed capital funding and acceleration among its services, without naming a scheme

- Founders affiliated with Mizoram University and founders with no connection to it — the centre states both may be assisted

- No incorporation requirement, geography restriction or category gate is stated
