About Incubation
MUTBI's main residency. Teams with a prototype and some traction are put to a committee, and incubation follows on the committee's recommendation.
What you get
- Dedicated space at the Advanced Research Center in Manipal
- Mentoring and other support through the incubation period
- Access to MAHE's central instrumentation and other campus equipment
- Eligibility for MUTBI's own seed support and for NIDHI-SSP once you have been with the incubator three months
Who can apply
- Teams with an appropriate prototype, a real innovation and traction
- Open to founders from outside MAHE, not only students and faculty
How selection works: you are presented to a committee, and incubation is granted on its recommendation. Once in, regular reviews and meeting your compliance obligations are mandatory. Extension for a further 18 months depends on your progress and your need for it.
How to apply: prepare an executive summary, a detailed business plan and a pitch deck. Register as a MUTBI member at no cost, or write to mutbi.mit@manipal.edu.
