What is the maximum grant amount under this program?
The program offers a grant of up to ₹10,00,000 (₹10 Lakhs) for prototype development.
Who can apply?
Applicants must be Indian citizens, first-generation entrepreneurs, and either full-time UG/PG students with entrepreneurial pursuits OR founders/co-founders of DPIIT-registered startups (up to 2 years old). Only residents of Tier II & III cities are eligible.
What stage of innovation is eligible?
The innovation must be at the Ideation, Concept Development, Validation (PoC), or Prototyping stage.
Which technology sectors are supported?

Can someone who already received external funding apply?
No, the applicant must not have received significant external funding exceeding ₹10 Lakhs (including government grants). Also, EiR support under GENESIS can be availed only once.
