About Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC)

The EDC is where ni-msme's handholding sits, as distinct from its classroom programmes.

What you get

  • Entrepreneurship development and awareness programmes, and sector skill training
  • Idea validation, help preparing a project report, help with business registration, facilitation of access to finance and continuing mentoring
  • Facilitation towards the Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme, MUDRA and the Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises
  • Mentoring, networking and links to industry, academia and research institutions for innovation-led ventures

Who can apply

  • Aspiring entrepreneurs, existing MSME units, startups and innovators, producer collectives and academic institutions

How to apply: No form, dates or dedicated inbox are published. Write to ar@nimsme.gov.in and say which of the cell's services you want. Note that ni-msme also trains staff for district-level EDCs run by state governments; that is a different network, not this cell.
