About National Executive Development Programmes
This is ni-msme's main offer and the thing an MSME owner or founder can actually enrol in. The 2026-27 calendar lists 68 short programmes between May 2026 and March 2027, run by the School of Enterprise Development, the School of Enterprise Management, and the School of Entrepreneurship and Extension. Most are two to five days. Most run at the Hyderabad campus, a few are online.
What you get
- A short classroom or online programme with a named programme director from the institute's faculty
- Titles aimed at business owners include export readiness and global market access, business plan generation from idea to execution, startup to scale-up, a young entrepreneur launchpad on idea, plan and pitch, leadership and growth strategies for MSME owners, IPR strategy for startups and MSMEs, working capital assessment for SMEs, project appraisal and risk analysis, GeM and public procurement, TReDS and receivables financing, digital marketing and e-commerce, AI for MSMEs, EV technology, green enterprise and circular economy, and agri-business value addition
- A residential or non-residential seat where the programme runs on campus
Who can apply
- Eligibility is set per programme, on that programme's own page under "Who can attend?"
- Open programmes name MSME entrepreneurs, startup founders, business owners and professionals, with no incorporation, turnover or geography requirement
- A large part of the calendar is instead for government officials, bankers, trainers, faculty and rural livelihood mission resource persons. Those are staff training, not founder training, and the attendee list is the only reliable way to tell
How selection works: There is none. Registration is open until the programme fills.
How to apply: Open the programme from the training programmes listing or the annual calendar, create or sign in to a ni-msme account, pick a registration category and pay online. Registration counts only once you activate the account from the confirmation email. Questions can go to ar@nimsme.gov.in.
