P18

P18 is the acceleration programme for startups that want to scale from Puerto Rico to global markets. It is open to startups from anywhere in the world, but the company must be incorporated in Puerto Rico or the United States, with authorisation to operate in Puerto Rico if selected. Applications reopen in 2027, and a waitlist is open for Gen. 15.

What you get

• An investment on selection through a SAFE, a Simple Agreement for Future Equity
• A bootcamp curriculum covering sales, fundraising and operations
• Weekly progress check-ins with a startup specialist
• Introductions to corporate partners through Parallel18 Connect
• Access to the Puerto Rico ecosystem and the parallel18 coworking space
• A perks programme with discounts on cloud hosting, marketing and legal services

Who can apply

• Startups operating for three years or less
• At least two full-time founders, with a team leader who can live in Puerto Rico for the full term
• A company ready to raise a pre-seed or seed round, either open now or within six months of the programme start

How selection works: applicants pass a multi-phase process of virtual meetings, an evaluation and judging round, and a selection committee. Up to 18 startups are selected for each cohort.
