About Rebalance Accelerator
Rebalance's accelerator is its only founder-facing programme. It runs for 15 weeks, twice a year, and takes fewer than 15 companies at a time. Most of it happens on Zoom — roughly ten group sessions across the programme — with two in-person bootcamps in Gurgaon or Bangalore, one of them three days long.
What you get
- Weekly sessions on market-product fit, market sizing, understanding your users and growth strategy
- One-to-one hours with mentors and with the Rebalance team to set your goals for the programme
- Warm introductions to more than 150 VCs across India, the US, Europe and Asia
- Cloud credits from Google and Amazon, sized to your usage
- Partner credits from WebEngage, Truecaller, Twilio, Amazon Activate and Freshworks
- Sector-relevant sessions curated for each batch with founders, investors and executives
- Co-selling conversations with corporate partners for pilots, research and investment
- Pitch practice with a panel of founders and investors before demo day
- Founder wellness and performance sessions run by outside experts
- Possible investment through the Rebalance Angel Community for selected companies in the batch, at pre-seed or seed
- An offer to take the mandate for your whole round and advise on structure and terms
Who can apply
- Teams with a diverse make-up and at least one female founder — this one is a hard requirement
- Companies with minimum viable traction: a prototype, users, early revenue or pilots
- Tech-enabled, sector-agnostic ideas that can scale
- Any stage from stealth up to pre-Series A; having raised early money already does not rule you out
- LGBTQ founders, explicitly
How selection works: Cohorts are capped at under 15 companies. You submit a pitch deck rather than a business plan, plus a short video that one founder can record on behalf of the team, or a written answer instead. Rebalance says it will consider more than one startup working on the same idea where execution is what decides the outcome. It does not give feedback to applicants it does not shortlist.
What it costs: Rebalance takes 1% sweat equity when you join, and a percentage of anything you raise through its network. It publishes no programme fee.
How to apply: Use the application form linked from the Rebalance homepage and its accelerator page. Questions go to hello@therebalance.com. There are two intakes a year and no published deadline, so confirm the current one before you start.
