About Rebalance Angel Community
The Rebalance Angel Community is the investor side of Rebalance, not a programme founders apply to. It matters to founders because it is how selected companies in a cohort receive investment at pre-seed and seed, and because its members attend the accelerator's demo days.
What members get
- An angel investing crash course for first-time investors, run with experienced angels and fund managers
- Access to pre-screened deals and a global investor network, sector agnostic by design
- Live pitches at Rebalance Accelerator demo days, with direct access to founders
Who can join
- Anyone with the capital, expertise and interest to back diverse founders. Rebalance says there is no membership requirement and no minimum commitment.
- Its stated focus is on bringing in first-time investors, including more women, LGBTQIA2S+ people, disabled people and minorities.
How it differs from the accelerator: the community operates independently and evaluates every deal that reaches it. It invests in a small number of companies a year regardless of whether they have women founders, even though most of what it backs leans diverse. So a team without a woman co-founder, which cannot join the accelerator, can still be considered here.
