About Pre-incubation
Pre-incubation is where riidl puts applicants whose startup is registered as something other than a Private Limited company, or is not registered at all. It is the same form and the same front door — riidl decides the track from your answer, so there is no reason to wait until you have incorporated.
Who can apply
- Teams with any legal structure other than a Private Limited company, and teams that have not registered anything yet
- Founders from outside the university as well as Somaiya students, alumni and faculty
How to apply: Use the Application for Pre-incubation / Incubation on riidl's site, the same one as for incubation.
riidl does not publish separate terms, duration or inclusions for the pre-incubation track. Its pre-incubation page shows past projects rather than programme details, so ask what the track actually includes before you count on it.
