About Titanium
Titanium is SINE's in-house route for commercialising IIT Bombay research. It continuously onboards new IP rather than running fixed cohorts, and remains open to tech and business co-founders and mentors who want to join a faculty team.
What you get
- Help identifying and vetting an IP with the originating professor (TRL 3 and above only)
- Matching with a business co-founder through Titanium's own outreach, plus onboarding of mentors and subject-matter experts
- A structured path through defined market-readiness gates: forming a team, picking a large market, choosing a single problem, signing up co-creators, and securing paying customers
- Grant support: incubation at SINE plus early-stage capital
Who can apply
- The underlying IP must originate from IIT Bombay
- The IP must be at technology readiness level 3 or above
How to apply: Registration is continuous; researchers, co-founders and mentors register interest through linked forms on the programme page.
