About CoE-EA incubation
The centre's core programme. It plans to take 100 startups over five years, 90 of them working from the Jayanagar building and 10 virtually, and gives each technical support, mentoring, seed funding and market assistance.
What you get
- A workstation in the incubation facility, or one of the ten virtual places
- Access to the Innovation and Development Lab, with onsite technical and application engineering support
- Mentoring from industry and academia mentors, matched one or several to a startup, free because the centre covers the cost
- Seed funding for startups the investment committee backs, plus introductions to other venture funds and funding agencies
- Showcase events at the centre and help taking part in trade and technology events in Karnataka and outside it
- A one-time partial reimbursement of what you spend on a domestic or international conference or exhibition
Who can apply
- Indian startups working in Industry 4.0 technologies such as AI, machine learning, big data and IoT
- Incorporated as a Private Limited Company, a Registered Partnership Firm, or a Limited Liability Partnership
- Work aimed at raising the efficiency of industrial production and operations, the service sector or government projects
How selection works: an investment committee runs due diligence early in product development, identifies the startups with potential and decides whether to put seed funding in.
