About Idea Corner
Idea Corner is the incubator's front door for people who are not ready to apply for incubation. You send in your idea and a panel of technical and management experts looks at how novel it is and whether it can be commercialised and scaled.
What you get
- A review of your idea by a panel drawn from both technical and management backgrounds
- If shortlisted, help from the incubator's experts with the technicalities and procedures of preparing a business plan
- A chance to pitch that plan to TBI NITC's panel of executive members; if it is approved, you are inducted as an incubatee on the normal terms
Who can apply
- Anyone with a new and innovative idea; no company or business plan is needed
- Ideas in biotechnology, nanotechnology, renewable energy, agriculture, IT and ITeS, and electronics are given high priority
How selection works: the panel assesses how innovative the idea is and whether it can be marketed, commercialised and scaled. The incubator says it will come back to you only if the idea is shortlisted.
