Programmes for startups

TiE Nurture Bangalore is a structured six-month mentoring programme for founders. Each selected startup works with two dedicated TiE Bangalore Charter Members, with fortnightly mentoring across the six months, two full-day bootcamps, six masterclasses, a peer cohort and a Demo Day. The chapter says it is for founders who have moved beyond the idea stage: a product or MVP already in the market, early validation or a credible path to revenue, a committed founding team and a specific problem or goal. It is open to startups across sectors. The first Bangalore cohort is currently underway, and the page collects interest for future cohorts instead of taking applications.

TiE HyperGrowth Circle is for founders of startups that have already reached product-market fit. It is invite-only and works as a paid annual membership: startups apply online, go through an approval process, pay the membership fee once selected, and are then matched with mentors and investors by industry, growth stage and business needs. It offers investor roundtables, workshops and executive coaching.

Programmes for students

TiE University (TiE U) Bangalore is a six-month student startup accelerator, with one-on-one mentoring, workshops on pitch design, business models and fundraising, investor connections and a global pitch competition. Applications for the 2025 cohort closed on 30 June 2025, with the global finale planned for January 2026.

TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) is a global programme for school students in classes 9 to 12. It runs sessions over 8 working days, after which student teams build a business plan with a senior industry leader as mentor. It is a paid programme.

TiE Women and membership

The chapter carries the global TiE Women programme, which supports women entrepreneurs with learning, access to funding and mentorship, and lists past winners. The Bangalore page does not state a current application window.

Chapter membership comes in three kinds. Associate Members are entrepreneurs and aspiring professionals, including founders forming a new business or taking a startup to the next level. Benefits listed include mentoring opportunities, discounted fees for TiE Bangalore events, pro bono legal help through the TiE Legal Clinic, and eligibility for AWS credits and other partner offers. Student Members are aspiring entrepreneurs, and Charter Members are established entrepreneurs and leaders who mentor, invest and govern the chapter, with joining on approval from a committee.
