These programs are conducted for the benefit of underprivileged / unemployed youth / Socially / Economically Weaker Section of the Society in the Country for getting gainful employment. Key features include 20-30% Theory Sessions and 70-80% Practical Sessions, tutorials, lectures, interactive sessions, hands-on practical exposure on state-of-the-art equipment/machinery, industrial visits, additional inputs on soft skills and personality development, and guest lecturers from industrial experts. CIPET supports in providing employment to about 80% of the candidates in the Petrochemicals / Plastics Processing and allied industries upon successful completion.

These programs provide participants with the opportunity to enhance, enrich & update their skill technology to suit recent developments in the industry. The Skill Up-gradation Programs are conducted in categories such as Regular programs for individuals & groups of students, CAD/CAM programs, Onsite / Tailor-made / Modular programs for persons working in industry, In-plant / Exposure programs for final year college students / persons working in industry, Specialized Programs for working Professionals, and Seminars / Re-Skilling on Waste Management (Plastics / e-Waste). Examples include CAD/CAM Siemens NX with Mould Design & Development, CNC Milling Programming & Operating, Plastics Product Design, Injection Moulding - Production & CAE using Moldflow.
