Physical Incubation

Physical incubation is for startups whose need is the building. The centre says it is for teams that need dedicated office space, co-working space, technical infrastructure and laboratories, and that all of it is made available on a shared basis. The centre occupies more than 14,000 sq ft on the second floor of B-Block at United Institute of Technology, Naini, Prayagraj.

What you get

• One of 10 cubicles of 100 sq ft for your founding team
• Seats in a 24-seat co-working section, each with a computer system, for staff and interns
• A common meeting room seating 12, with a 50-inch display
• A common conference room seating up to 100, with digital media and communication facilities
• An assembly hall for small gatherings or for setting up a product assembly line
• An auditorium seating up to 2,000 with audio-visual systems
• The Innovation Lab, for industry 4.0 technologies and for product development and testing under expert guidance
• Wifi across all sections, printers and copiers
• Cafeteria, water outlets, washrooms, security and open parking

Who can apply

• Startups that need physical infrastructure in Prayagraj
• No stage, incorporation, sector or geography requirement is stated on the page
• Nothing restricts the route to students or alumni of United Group of Institutions

How selection works: not published. The centre's event reports mention incubated startups signing a memorandum of understanding with UIH to formalise incubation, so expect a written agreement once you are accepted.
