Track record
What UIH - United Incubation Hub reports about its portfolio.
The centre's counters do not agree with its own pages. Its homepage reads 13 incubated startups, which matches the 13 companies profiled on its startups page, so we have published that. Its homepage also reads 14 mentors and advisors where the mentors page names 12, and 14 events where the events page describes four — we have published neither. All the counters are undated and self-reported.
All figures self-reported — unitedincubationhub.in, as of Sept 2026.
Programmes they run
Standing programmes at UIH - United Incubation Hub, separate from the funding calls above.
UIH runs three standing routes — pre-incubation, physical incubation and virtual incubation — with no published intake dates, cohort calendar or deadlines, so applications appear to be taken on a rolling basis. Neither a fee nor an equity position is stated for any of the three, so ask about both before committing. The two event entries below are closed and are listed because founders search for them.
Pre-Incubation Support
IncubationThe ideation-stage route, for founders turning an idea into a proof of concept, available in person at Naini or remotely.

Pre-incubation is UIH's entry point. The centre describes it as the stage where a technologist or entrepreneur with a potential innovative idea is given a co-working space, develops that idea into a proof of concept, and works out whether it is technically feasible. It can be taken in person at the Naini campus or remotely. Much of what it covers is the work of getting a business off paper: incorporating, registering for government schemes, and producing the documents an investor or a scheme will ask for.
What you get
- Co-working space during the ideation stage
- Support registering a company as an LLP, OPC or private limited
- Support obtaining Startup India, StartinUP, MSME, Udyog Aadhaar, ISO and GST registrations
- A pitch deck, business plan and financial projections
- Idea validation and product testing
- Mock pitching sessions to prepare you to present your business model
- Training on various technologies with the centre's associated organisations
- Help sourcing manpower, interns or co-founders
- Networking with senior startups already incubated at UIH

How selection works: the centre does not publish a selection process. Its contact page says that if it finds your idea interesting, it will not take long to hear back.
How to apply: submit the pre-incubation form linked from the Apply Now menu on the centre's site, or email a pitch deck to incubation@united.edu.in. No deadlines or intake dates are published, so applications appear to be taken as they arrive.

Best for: Startups that need desks, meeting rooms and lab access in Prayagraj

Who can apply

- No stage, incorporation, sector or geography requirement is stated on the page

How to apply to UIH - United Incubation Hub
Pick the route before you apply
UIH has three routes and two forms, so decide which one you want before you fill anything in.
- Pre-incubation if you have an idea and not much else — no company yet, no proof of concept. This is the route that includes help incorporating and registering.
- Physical incubation if what you need is the building: a cubicle for your founding team, desks for your staff and interns, meeting rooms, the Innovation Lab.
- Virtual incubation if you are based elsewhere and want the mentoring, investor sessions and advisory connections without moving to Prayagraj.
The site does not say which of the two forms covers virtual incubation. If that is the route you want, say so in the form and in your email so nobody has to guess.
How applications work
- Applications go through one of the two forms in the Apply Now menu on the centre's site. Both need you to be signed in to a Google account to open, so do that first.
- You can also write to the centre's incubation inbox with a pitch deck or a question. The contact page says an idea it finds interesting will not take long to hear back on.
- There is no published intake calendar, cohort schedule or deadline, so applications appear to be taken whenever they arrive.
What to have ready
- A short pitch deck. The centre asks for one by email and it is the fastest way to be assessed.
- A clear statement of which route you want and why — especially whether you need desk space in Prayagraj or only remote support.
- If you are already incorporated, your registration details. If you are not, say so: the centre treats incorporation as something it helps you do rather than something you must arrive with.
Ask these before you commit
The centre publishes no fee schedule and no equity term for any of its three routes, and no programme length. Two things are worth settling in writing before you take a cubicle or sign anything:
- Whether the space, the co-working seats and the advisory services are charged for, and on what basis.
- Whether the centre takes equity, and for how long incubation runs.
One event report mentions incubated startups signing a memorandum of understanding with UIH to formalise incubation, so expect a written agreement at that point — read it.
What the centre is good at
The support list is heavily weighted towards compliance and readiness rather than capital: company registration, Startup India, StartinUP, MSME, Udyog Aadhaar, ISO and GST certification, pitch decks, business plans and financial projections. If you need somebody to walk you through getting a company registered and government-scheme-ready in eastern Uttar Pradesh, that is the strongest part of the offer. The centre states no fund or investment programme of its own — its funding help is connecting startups to angel investors and venture capitalists and running pitching sessions and investor meets on its premises.
Getting there
The centre is on the second floor of B-Block at United Institute of Technology, Naini, Prayagraj. The mentor pool and the extended board are drawn largely from the group's own colleges, so a campus visit is a reasonable way to meet the people who would mentor you.
About UIH - United Incubation Hub
United Incubation Hub (UIH) is an incubation centre run by United Group of Institutions at United Institute of Technology, Naini, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. It was inaugurated on 12 October 2022 by Prof. Pradeep Kumar Mishra, Vice Chancellor of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, and describes its purpose as giving small enterprises and start-ups transitory and facilitative assistance from the ideation stage through to scaling. The centre occupies more than 14,000 sq ft on the second floor of B-Block on the United Institute of Technology campus.
How the three routes work
UIH offers three ways in, and a founder picks the one that matches how much of the centre they actually need.
Pre-incubation is the ideation route. The centre describes it as the stage where a technologist or entrepreneur with a potential innovative idea is given a co-working space and works the idea up into a proof of concept, testing whether it is technically feasible. Pre-incubation can itself be taken in person at Naini or remotely. What the centre lists under it is mostly setup work: registering a company as an LLP, OPC or private limited, getting Startup India, StartinUP, MSME, Udyog Aadhaar, ISO and GST registrations done, and building a pitch deck, business plan and financial projections. It also covers idea validation and product testing, mock pitching, training on various technologies with associated organisations, help sourcing manpower, interns or co-founders, mentoring by industrial and academic experts of the relevant domain, and guidance on testing whether the concept is marketable and feasible.
Physical incubation is for startups that need the building. The centre says it is for teams whose need is physical infrastructure — dedicated office space, co-working space, technical infrastructure and laboratories — and that these are made available on a shared basis.
Virtual incubation is for founders operating from somewhere else who want the centre's support remotely. Its list covers company registration and certification support, online mentorship on the business idea, proof of concept or product development, online attendance at events held at UIH, manpower sourced from the network of United Group of Institutions students and alumni, participation in pitching sessions and investor meets held at the centre, expert talks, seminars and webinars, introductions to the centre's associated legal and financial advisors, information on events and expos around the country for marketing and branding, a briefing on what fiscal and non-fiscal government support exists and how to avail it, and networking with the resource people associated with UIH.
Who can apply
The centre sets no published eligibility bar. Nothing on its pages restricts applications to students or alumni of United Group of Institutions, requires an incorporated company, or limits applicants to Uttar Pradesh. Pre-incubation is addressed to ideation-stage entrepreneurs, and one of the things the centre offers is help registering a company, which suggests founders can arrive before incorporation. The site states no fee and no equity term for any of the three routes, so a founder should ask about both before signing anything.
Facilities
The physical incubation page itemises what the building holds. There are 10 cubicles of 100 sq ft each for founding teams, and a co-working section of 24 seats with a computer system on every seat for team members, employees and interns. A common meeting room seats 12 and has a 50-inch display for internal and client meetings; a common conference room with digital media and communication facilities seats up to 100. There is an assembly hall the centre says can be used for small gatherings or for setting up a product assembly line, and an auditorium with audio-visual systems seating up to 2,000. An Innovation Lab is listed for new-age industry 4.0 technologies, and the homepage describes it as where startups do product development and testing under expert guidance. The rest is the practical layer: wifi across all sections, printers and copiers, a cafeteria, water outlets and washrooms, and security with open parking for two- and four-wheelers.
Scale
UIH profiles 13 incubated companies on its startups page, and its homepage counter also reads 13 incubated startups alongside four pre-incubated ones. The named companies span consumer marketplaces, interior design, wellness technology, education, creator monetisation, legal technology, geospatial and remote sensing, consultancy, logistics for tier 2 and tier 3 cities, herbal products, medical research and electric mobility. The centre's other counters do not agree with its own pages: the homepage says 14 mentors and advisors while the mentors page names 12, and the homepage says 14 events while the events page describes four. Treat the counters as approximate.
Who runs it
Shivesh Gaur is CEO. Gaurav Gulati and Rishi Gulati are listed as Directors, with Prof. Sanjay Srivastava and Prof. (Dr) Nandita Pradhan as Senior Technical Advisors and Amitabh Srivastava as Senior Alumni and Head of Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Gargi Agarwal is the Incubation Manager, and is the person a founder is most likely to deal with. An extended board draws the principals and deans of the group's constituent colleges — United Institute of Pharmacy, United Institute of Management, United College of Engineering and Research — which is also where most of the mentor pool comes from.
Events
The centre runs events out of the United auditorium and lists them on its events page. Local Startup Meet (LSM) – Prayagraj was organised with the Entrepreneurship-Cell of IIT Kharagpur, with a panel discussion and a pitching session; the startup judged best of that event went on to the LSM finale at Kshitij, IIT Kharagpur. Startup Confluence 2024, hosted with the E-Cell of United Institute of Technology, was a two-day programme of keynote sessions, a pitching session in front of mentors, investors and industry leaders, and a startup expo. The centre also reports pitching and incubation sessions at which incubated startups signed memoranda of understanding with UIH.
How to apply
There are two application forms, linked from the Apply Now menu on the centre's site — one for pre-incubation and one for incubation. Both require a Google sign-in to open, so their questions cannot be previewed. The centre also invites founders to email a pitch deck or a query to its incubation inbox, and says that an idea it finds interesting will hear back quickly. No intake dates, cohort calendar or deadlines are published anywhere, so applications appear to be accepted on a rolling basis.
