Pre-Incubation and Incubation

The centre's main route in is an application for pre-incubation and incubation, open to women-led startups at an early stage. The centre lists pre-incubation, R&D labs, fab labs, co-working space, mentoring, workshops, training programmes and institutional collaboration among its services.

What you get

• Pre-incubation and incubation at the Juhu campus centre in Mumbai
• Co-working space, R&D labs and fab labs, as listed by the centre
• Mentoring, workshops and training programmes
• Optional help with business consulting, marketing consultancy, prototype development and CA or legal advisory, which you request on the form

Who can apply

• Women applicants who live in India; SNDT Women's University affiliation is not required
• A startup with a prototype or proof of concept, a customer or market survey done, or less than a year in business
• An idea in one of the centre's focus areas (technology, health, agriculture, clean energy, fintech, food, social entrepreneurship and related areas)
• You must own the IP and be ready to transfer it to your company
• A selected startup cannot be incubated in another incubator or accelerator at the same time

How selection works: The centre reviews applications, and shortlisted applicants pitch. An applicant who reaches pitching must commit to the startup full time.

How to apply: Fill in the pre-incubation and incubation application form and send a hard copy with the supporting documents to the Director, WISE SNDTWU Incubation Centre, UMIT, SNDT Juhu Campus, Santa Cruz West, Mumbai 400049. The documents we read do not give a fee, an equity term or an intake window, so ask the centre.
