BRAINWAVE 2026 is the flagship National Innovation Challenge organized by the Association of Computing, Technology & Science (ACTS-EDC), University School of Automation & Robotics (USAR), Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), East Delhi Campus. The competition brings together innovators, developers, designers, entrepreneurs, and problem-solvers from across the country to build impactful solutions for real-world challenges.
Who Should Apply
Open to undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma students, and recent graduates from any recognized institution. Teams of 2–4 members. Inter-college, inter-specialization, and interdisciplinary teams are allowed.
Tracks / Themes
Participants may choose a problem statement from the Official Problem Statement Tracks or compete under the Open Innovation Track. A total of 8 innovation tracks will be released in two phases: Track Set 1 (4 Tracks) on 20 July 2026 and Track Set 2 (4 Tracks) on 30 July 2026.
Format & Timeline
The competition features multiple evaluation rounds, expert mentoring, and an in-person Grand Finale. The official PPT template and submission guidelines will be released before the submission round. Teams must submit only original work. The decisions of the organizing committee and jury are final.
Prizes
Winner (1st Place): ₹20,000 + trophy, certificate of excellence, premium swags, goodies, merchandise, and sponsor rewards. 1st Runner Up (2nd Place): ₹15,000 + similar rewards. 2nd Runner Up (3rd Place): ₹10,000 + similar rewards. Additionally, participants can receive ₹3,00,000+ worth of exclusive swags, goodies, food & drinks, stickers, merchandise, digital subscriptions, and gifts from sponsors.
