About this competition
CaseVerse 2.0 is the flagship national-level case competition organized by the Analytics and Consulting Club (AnC) at NIT Rourkela, in partnership with Finshots as Title Sponsor and Unstop as Platform Partner. The competition brings together the brightest minds across India to solve real-world business challenges through strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and innovative problem-solving.
Who Should Apply Open to all Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) students from any discipline across India. Teams of 1–4 members are allowed, including inter-college, cross-specialization, and cross-year teams. Each participant can be part of only one team.
Competition Format The competition is conducted in three rounds:
- Round 1: Quiz Assessment (Elimination) — 6th July 2026. 25 multiple-choice questions in 30 minutes covering basic finance, macroeconomics, current business affairs, and logical problem-solving. Marking: +3 for correct, –1 for incorrect.
- Round 2: Case Study Submission — Case released 8th July, submission deadline 14th July. Teams submit an 8–10 page case deck analyzing a real-world business problem. Judged on depth of analysis, feasibility, clarity, and innovation. Top 10 teams advance.
- Round 3: Final Case Presentation — 26th July 2026 (virtual). Each team presents for 6 minutes followed by 4 minutes Q&A. Evaluated on problem understanding, solution originality, clarity, and Q&A responses.
Prizes Total prize pool: ₹20,000. Winner: ₹10,000 + Certificate of Excellence. First Runner-Up: ₹6,000 + Certificate of Excellence. Second Runner-Up: ₹4,000 + Certificate of Achievement. E-certificates for all participants.
Eligibility Open to all UG and PG students from any Indian college/university. Teams of 1–4 members.
