15 Startup Grants and Seed Funds Closing This Week (10-16 Aug 2026)

Fifteen startup grants, seed funds, incubation programs, and competitions close between 10 and 16 August 2026. This round includes healthcare and agritech incubators, government-backed seed support, and national student hackathons.

AIC T-Hub Healthcare Program (T-Hub) Closes 10 August

The AIC T-Hub Healthcare Program Cohort 6 is run by T-Hub Foundation in partnership with Atal Innovation Mission. It focuses on DeepTech startups in healthcare and life sciences that have a validated minimum viable product and are applying AI, AR/VR, IoT, or blockchain to new-age solutions.

Selected startups get access to mentors, investors, and industry experts through T-Hub. The program is designed for startups that have already moved beyond the ideation stage and are aiming for commercialization. The application window closes on 10 August 2026.

CITIL Innovation Grant (CITIL) Closes 10 August

CITIL Innovation Grant 2026 is run by Chennai Institute of Technology Innovation Labs. The grant supports technology innovations at TRL 4 and above, helping ventures move beyond proof-of-concept toward prototypes and market-ready products. Startups, student entrepreneurs, and faculty-led research teams can apply.

Selected projects receive funding up to ₹2,00,000. The program targets ideas that can address real-world challenges. Applications close on 10 August 2026.

International Innovation Challenge 3.0 (Manipal University Jaipur) Closes 11 August

International Innovation Challenge 3.0 is organized by Manipal University Jaipur and is open to university students globally. Teams of one to four members develop original projects under one of ten themes. The competition starts with a PPT-based shortlisting round and ends with an offline final at the Jaipur campus, with an online option for international teams.

Total prizes go up to ₹7,00,000. Students from any discipline and any institution can participate, and cross-institutional teams are allowed. Registration closes on 11 August 2026.

Brainwave (ACTS-EDC) Closes 12 August

Brainwave is a national innovation challenge organized by ACTS-EDC at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University's East Delhi Campus. It is open to undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and recent graduate students. Teams of two to four members can choose an official problem statement track or an open track.

The competition offers prizes up to ₹3,00,000. Inter-college and interdisciplinary teams are allowed. Applications close on 12 August 2026.

2nd NextGen Hackathon 2026 (ACM Fremont) Closes 12 August

The 2nd NextGen Hackathon 2026 is organized by the ACM Fremont Chapter and the Soft Computing Research Society. This online hackathon invites students, professionals, and tech enthusiasts to build solutions in AI, GreenTech, Web 3.0, mobility, and cybersecurity.

Prizes go up to ₹1,61,000. There are no age or educational background restrictions. Registration closes on 12 August 2026.

Caspian Buildathon (BITS Pilani) Closes 12 August

Caspian Buildathon is a virtual hackathon organized by BITS Pilani. The challenge asks participants to build AI agents that can reach anyone, using modern AI and machine learning techniques for autonomous communication. The buildathon runs from 28 July to 12 August 2026 on Devpost.

The competition is beginner-friendly and open to individual developers or teams. Submissions are judged on creativity, technical implementation, and impact. Prizes go up to ₹1,56,400. Registration closes on 12 August 2026.

Hack-4-Crown (NSUT Delhi) Closes 12 August

Hack-4-Crown is a 24-hour hackathon held as part of Oblivion'26 at Netaji Subhas University of Technology. Student teams of three to four members build functional prototypes with support from industry mentors. Evaluation is based on innovation, teamwork, time management, and scalability.

Prizes go up to ₹22,000. Individual participants can join a team during registration. The hackathon is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students. Applications close on 12 August 2026.

UX Imperium (D'Code NSUT) Closes 13 August

UX Imperium is a two-phase UX design hackathon organized by D'Code NSUT. Teams of two to four members design a digital solution in an online round, using public view-only links such as Figma, followed by a final round. The focus is on creating scalable design systems under pressure.

Prizes go up to ₹15,000. The competition is open to students and early-career designers, developers, and product enthusiasts. Registration closes on 13 August 2026.

APIIC 2nd Incubation & Ignition Call (AIIMS Patna Incubation Centre) Closes 14 August

The APIIC 2nd Incubation & Ignition Call 2026 is run by the AIIMS Patna Incubation and Innovation Council under the DST NIDHI i-TBI program. It targets healthcare and medical technology ideas that can move from concept to clinic, offering incubation support with clinical expertise from AIIMS Patna.

Funding support goes up to ₹10,00,000. The program is designed for early-stage startups and promising ideas in healthcare. Applications close on 14 August 2026.

Intellify 4.0 (Marwadi University) Closes 14 August

Intellify 4.0 is a national-level hackathon organized by Marwadi University. Indian college students from any discipline can join in a hybrid format, either in-person at the Gujarat campus or online. The competition runs from 9 June to 14 August 2026.

Total cash prizes amount to ₹3,40,000. Specific problem statements and judging criteria will be announced on the official platform. Registration closes on 14 August 2026.

Bootstrap Battle 2.0 (AJNIFM) Closes 14 August

Bootstrap Battle 2.0 is an international startup case competition organized by Arun Jaitley National Institute of Financial Management. Teams of two to four students identify a real-world problem, build a startup solution, and pitch to a jury of entrepreneurs, investors, and mentors.

Prizes go up to ₹75,000. The competition is open to undergraduate, postgraduate, MBA, engineering, management, commerce, law, and science students. Cross-disciplinary teams are accepted. Applications close on 14 August 2026.

Vibewright (D'Code NSUT) Closes 14 August

Vibewright is an AI-assisted vibe coding hackathon organized by D'Code NSUT at Oblivion'26. Teams of one to four members use AI tools to ideate, solve problems, and make architectural decisions in a simulated fictional scenario. The focus is on creativity and strategy rather than raw coding skill.

Prizes go up to ₹30,000. The hackathon is open to students and early-stage builders who are comfortable with AI tools. Registration closes on 14 August 2026.

Omnikon National Hackathon 2026 (Omnikon) Closes 14 August

The Omnikon National Hackathon 2026 is a month-long national competition open to students and professionals across India. Participants can build solutions in web development, mobile apps, AI, cybersecurity, blockchain, cloud computing, IoT, and other emerging technologies. Individual and team participation are allowed.

Prizes go up to ₹10,000. Cross-college and cross-organization teams are welcome. Applications close on 14 August 2026.

DST NIDHI Seed Support Program at IKP EDEN (IKP Knowledge Park) Closes 15 August

The DST NIDHI Seed Support Program at IKP EDEN - Call 2 provides milestone-based seed funding of up to ₹1 crore. It is run by IKP Knowledge Park in Bengaluru under the national DST NIDHI-SSP scheme. Startups should have a proof of concept, prototype, or early product.

Selected startups also get mentorship, technical infrastructure, labs, prototyping facilities, industry connections, and investor networks. The program is designed for technology-driven startups moving toward market commercialization. Applications close on 15 August 2026.

Aarohan 6.0 (TIH IIT Bombay) Closes 16 August

Aarohan 6.0 is the sixth cohort of the TIH IIT Bombay Seed Support Program. The program targets investment-ready agritech startups building IoT-enabled solutions for farm operations and supply chain management. TIH IIT Bombay operates under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS) with central government funding.

Selected startups receive seed funding up to ₹1 crore and support to move from proven prototype to commercialization. The application window closes on 16 August 2026.

Before Applying

Before you apply, check the stage requirements for each program. AIC T-Hub and Aarohan 6.0 ask for a validated MVP or prototype; CITIL expects projects at TRL 4 and above; IKP EDEN's NIDHI SSP is for startups with a proof of concept or prototype. Student-only competitions such as International Innovation Challenge, Intellify, and Bootstrap Battle restrict entries to enrolled students or recent graduates.

The earliest deadlines hit on 10 August for both AIC T-Hub and CITIL. The two largest seed funds — IKP EDEN's NIDHI SSP and TIH IIT Bombay's Aarohan — close on 15 and 16 August. Several hackathons, including Brainwave, 2nd NextGen, Caspian Buildathon, and Hack-4-Crown, all close on 12 August, so those submissions need to be prepared earlier in the week.
