Vibewright is an AI-assisted vibe coding hackathon organised by D'Code NSUT as part of Oblivion'26. Unlike traditional hackathons, this event does not test raw coding ability. Instead, it emphasises how well a team can ideate, solve problems, make architectural decisions, and use AI tools effectively under time pressure.
Who Should Apply
Open to students and early-stage builders comfortable with AI tools. Teams of 1 to 4 members. No strict coding expertise required — creativity and strategic thinking are valued more.
Theme & Narrative
The hackathon is set in a fictional world where an AI Technocratic Empire has taken over. Participants enter a simulated trial to prove that human ingenuity still has value. Every challenge tests creativity, strategy, adaptability, and problem-solving under pressure.
Format & Timeline
The event runs from July 21 to August 23, 2026. The registration deadline is August 14. The competition includes an offline round in South West Delhi, Delhi. Submissions must be in PDF or Google Slides format. Use of mockups, visual storytelling, and creative formatting is encouraged. A Disclosure Log is mandatory and directly judged. Wi-Fi will be provided during the offline round, but participants are advised to plan an alternative data source. Participants must bring personal laptops. The judges' decision is final and binding.
