The Greenovation Circularity Challenge, led by Greenovation Hub (SwitchON Foundation's flagship accelerator) and backed by EarthON Foundation, aims to identify, support, and scale groundbreaking innovations across India's most critical waste streams: plastics, textiles, and food. This initiative focuses on fostering a circular economy by transforming waste into valuable resources, moving away from the traditional 'take-make-waste' linear model.
The challenge targets affordable, practical, and scalable solutions, welcoming applications from early-stage prototypes to market-ready ventures. Participants will develop solutions that contribute to better waste collection, reuse, and recycling practices. The program specifically seeks innovations in key areas such as waste collection and segregation, advanced recycling technologies, circular packaging, textile and food waste management, and the valorization of by-products.
By engaging startups and social enterprises, the Greenovation Circularity Challenge seeks to drive sustainable development and environmental impact in India. The program is structured to provide not just financial incentives through non-dilutive prizes, but also intensive mentorship, industry exposure, and a potential pathway to significant follow-on investment, thereby accelerating the growth and impact of promising circular economy ventures.

The Greenovation Circularity Challenge offers a total prize pool of ₹20 lakh in non-dilutive awards, with individual companies eligible for up to ₹20 lakh. Beyond the prize money, selected participants benefit from an immersive 2-day residential bootcamp, which covers critical technical, operational, and business-model support. High-potential participants also gain a pathway to EarthON Gurukul, a structured acceleration program offering further mentorship, growth support, and potential equity or debt investment of up to ₹4 crore through the EarthON Blended Finance Platform and GreenovatiON Fund. The program also provides significant visibility and networking opportunities, allowing participants to present to investors, industry leaders, and policy stakeholders.

Shortlisted startups and social enterprises may be invited for further detailed discussions or presentations to a selection committee comprising experts from Greenovation Hub, EarthON Foundation, and industry partners. The final selection for the challenge prize and participation in the residential bootcamp will be based on the innovation's potential impact, scalability, team strength, and the solution's applicability to the Indian context.
