Greenovation Hub is a climate and sustainability-focused innovation initiative run under the EarthON Foundation — a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that democratizes funding for grassroots organizations and early-stage ventures across India and the Global South.

Greenovation Challenges

Greenovation Hub runs decentralized, theme-based innovation challenges to identify and support early-stage entrepreneurs building sustainable, community-rooted solutions across India. Past challenges include the Greenovation Green Steel Challenge (with WWF, IGSN, and Rajiva Sinha Foundation) and the Greenovation Agrivoltaics Challenge (with SwitchON Foundation).

Scale and Impact

With 4 cohorts across 80+ NGOs and rural enterprises, and 120+ startups from 18 states, the Greenovation programs have distributed over $100,000 in grants, supported through partners like Goonj, Christ University, and WASSAN. The broader EarthON Foundation has attracted 5,000+ applications and awarded $100K+ in grants.

Early-stage founders and social enterprises working on climate, clean energy, sustainable agriculture, green manufacturing, and environmental conservation — particularly those operating at the grassroots level in rural India.
